How to apply
Three steps, and none of them cost anything.
Admission is open to any child whose family wants them in school. The examination decides placement and scholarship, not whether a child is welcome.
Collect a form
Application forms are free. Ask for one at the school office, or write to us and we will tell you what to bring for the child you are applying for.
Sit the examination
Every applicant takes our Scholarship Admission Examination. There is no separate scholarship application — sitting the exam is the application.
Meet us, and be placed
We interview every applicant before placement, so a pupil joins the class they will actually thrive in rather than the one their age suggests.
Bring the child. The interview is about where a pupil should start, not about judging a family. Children who have been out of school for a year or two are the reason the placement step exists at all.
Entry points
Which class does my child start in?
Most children begin at First Year Primary 1, at four or five years old. A pupil who is already ahead may enter directly at Class 3 — that is the exceptional route, and the admission examination is how it is decided rather than a parent's or a teacher's say-so.
Primary runs to eleven years old, and secondary education continues on the same site. A child who starts with us at four does not have to find a new school to carry on.
- No child is refused a place for being behind for their age
- Orphans and less privileged children are who the school exists for
- Placement is reviewed, not fixed — a pupil can be moved up

Placement is confirmed at interview. Where a pupil sits relative to their age is a teaching decision, not an administrative one.
Where every naira goes
₦30,000 for the year. Published, so nobody has to ask.
The whole year is ₦30,000, with nothing held back for later. It can be split across three terms for convenience: ₦10,000 at the start of the year, then ₦10,000 in each of the two terms that follow. Payment is due on or before the first day of term unless another arrangement has been agreed with the school.
- Tuition — three terms (₦25,000)
- Uniform, school shoes and books (₦5,000)

Scholarships
If ₦30,000 is out of reach, apply anyway.
A limited number of academic scholarships cover between 50% and 100% of full fees. There is no separate application and no separate form — every applicant is automatically considered on the results of the Scholarship Admission Examination.
Awards are renewed annually, subject to continued performance and good conduct. A pupil who keeps up their side keeps their place.
What a scholarship covers
- 50% to 100% of full fees, decided on examination results
- No application fee, and no application form beyond the standard one
- Renewed each year on performance and conduct, not re-applied for
- Funded by sponsors, which is why the sponsorship page exists
