The entrance to Al-Ibrab Memorial School

Talk to the school

Whether you are a parent asking about a place, a sponsor asking where the money goes, or someone with an afternoon a week to give — the same people read every message.

Three ways

Come to the gate, write, or call.

The office keeps school hours. It is open on school days during term, and quiet during the holidays. If you are travelling any distance to visit, write or call first so somebody is expecting you.

Start here

You probably came with one of three questions.

You want to enrol a child

Application forms are free. There is an entrance examination, and the result decides both the class a pupil starts in and whether a scholarship covers some or all of the fees.

How admission works

You want to sponsor a child

₦30,000 covers one child for a full academic year — ₦10,000 a term in tuition plus ₦5,000 once for a uniform, shoes and books. You can cover a term, a year, or part of either.

Sponsor a child

You want to help another way

Teaching time, a trade, books, desks, repairs, or an hour a week of reading with a child who has fallen behind. All of it is short, and all of it counts.

Lend a hand

Or write to us here

Send a message.

Everything marked optional can be left blank. The more you tell us up front, the fewer rounds of email it takes.

Step one Who are you?

We reply to this address and use it for nothing else.

Leave a number if a call back would be easier than an email.

Step two What is it about?

Please do not send a child's full details through this form. A first name and an age is plenty to get a conversation started. Anything more belongs on the application form, in person at the school.

If something is wrong

A concern about a child does not wait for a form.

If you are worried about the safety or welfare of a child at this school, say so directly to the proprietor or the head teacher — by phone, or at the gate. Do not use the form above for it; a message that sits in an inbox overnight is the wrong channel for something urgent.

That applies to a parent, a neighbour, a member of staff or a sponsor equally. You do not need to be sure, and you do not need to explain why you are asking.

One last thing

₦10,000 is one term of school for one child.

You do not have to get in touch to help. The fastest thing you can do from this page is cover a term for a child who would otherwise be at home.

₦10,000 = one term Tuition for one child, in full.
